What I must send with the handset?
All we require of you is your phone and its battery. You may send a charger and we will happily accept any other accessories except SIM cards. If we find a SIM card in the phone it will be immediately destroyed due to data protection laws. Feel free to send all the original contents that came with the phone if you can find them. However, this does not increase the value of your order.

What is an IMEI number?
This sounds a bit complicated but it really isn't. The International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) is a serial number unique to each and every mobile phone. You will usually find it printed on the back of the handset. If not, then just key in your phone *#06# and it will pop right up on your screen.
Q.
What condition does the handset need to be in?
We accept handsets that are in working and in non-working condition. If it is fully working with a battery and in good cosmetic condition, you should receive the full working price. However if the device has more serious damage or wear and tear you will receive a reduced payment amount. How do I find out what model my handset is?
This is very easy, all you have to do is take the battery out of the phone and the model number will be printed there along with the IMEI number.

What if my phone is not on the list?
If your phone is not on the list then just drop us an email with the model number to enquiries@moneyforyourphone.com and we will give you a quote within 24 hours.

Does the colour of my handset affect the price?
No. The price is the same regardless of the colour.
Q.
Is there a limit of how many phones I can sell?
No. There is no limit and you can send as many as you wish. The more mobile phone's you sell to us, the more cash you will receive! However we do need to you contact us first if it is more than 10.

What type of postage do I use when sending the phone?
Please send your order to us via recorded delivery. Royal Mail Special Delivery will cover you up to £500.00 and Royal Mail 1st Class Recorded will cover you up to £30.00. You can also send via standard parcel delivery at your own risk. MFYP holds no responsibility for mobile phones not received. We do provide both free postage and packaging though it is strongly advised you send it via Special Delivery.

What if my phone is barred/blocked?
A barred/blocked phone is one that does not work with any simcard due to the network provider blocking it. This might be because the phone is reported as stolen. We will not accept any barred or blocked mobile phones.
Q.
What if my phone is worth more than the one I want to SWAP?
If you want to swap your phone for a lower value one we will add in the difference in your payment.

How long before I receive my phone?
You will receive your phone within 3 working days. Phones will be sent via Royal Mail Special Delivery.
Q.
Can I pay the difference witout PayPal?
Yes, drop us an email to arrange payment via BACS or Cheque.
Q.
Can I have a refund if I am not happy with the SWAPPED phone?
Yes, you have 14 days to send the phone back for a refund or to exchange it for a different one. After 14 days, you will have to go through the SWAP process again.

How many times can I swap my phone?
You can SWAP your phone however many times you want!
Q.
When will I receive my payment?
All standard orders are paid within 10th working days from when we receive the order. "Same day" orders are paid on the same day the order is received if the order is tested before 3:30pm. If the order is tested after 3:30pm the payment will made the following working day.
